Description

The tactile polymer joining clip (Pac) is a heavy duty injection molded hardware component developed by the Maxpedition design team. It is used to integrate accessory pockets and pouches onto packs, vests, Atlas surfaces, PALS surfaces and MOLLE equipment in an interlocking manner. The tactile Pac is secure when properly woven but may be disengaged by hand without the aid of tools. They are backwards compatible with older Maxpedition pouches backed with webbing as well as fully MOLLE/PALS compatible.
The TacTie polymer joining Clip is protected by utility and design patents pending in the USA and internationally. Each package Comes with six (6) TacTie polymer joining clips for modular attachment. The polymer joining clips are backwards Compatible, so you can Retrofit any Maxpedition legacy products with the new and improved clips. The clips are also rigid enough to Use as loop for belt carry. When properly engaged, the connection is extremely secure. The clips are removable without the aid of tools. The head and tail have been designed to help maintain progress during weaving. The clips are using a heavy duty one-piece injection molded design. The clips are made of durable yet flexible polymer and have a subdued matte finish. When the clips are open, the overall size is 8.5 (L) x 1.2 (w) x 0.4 (H) inches (21.5 x 3.0 x 0.9 cm). when the clips are closed, the overall size is 4.2 (L) x 1.2 (w) x 0.4 (H) inches.
