The stool will retain your desired color when the light turns on again the next time. MOTION-ACTIVATED NIGHT LIGHTWhen no light is on (its nighttime or in a windowless room)and motion is detected by the sensorthe night light underneath the stool will illuminate. It will turn itself off about a minute after motion stops. If it turns itself off while you are doing your business, just create motion in front of the sensor to reactivate the light.
